Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Welcome to Sisters With A Mower. These Terms and Conditions govern the lawn care and yard maintenance services we provide and your use of our website at www.sisterswithmower.com. By requesting a quote, approving a quote, or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

Sisters With A Mower provides residential lawn care services in Fredericksburg, Virginia and surrounding communities, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, mulching, weeding, and leaf removal. The specific services, scope, and price for your property are set out in the quote we provide to you.

Quote Validity

Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date they are issued. After that time, pricing may need to be reviewed and updated to reflect current conditions, and we may need to re-quote the job before scheduling service.

Recurring Service Season

Recurring lawn care service generally runs from the start of the growing season through its natural end, with our recurring mowing season typically beginning between March 15th and April 1st depending on weather and grass growth that year. We will communicate with you about the season start and end dates for your specific plan.

Client Responsibilities and Property Prep

You agree to provide safe, clear access to the areas being serviced. Please do not ask our crew to move personal items, furniture, toys, vehicles, or other belongings out of the work area before we arrive. It is the client's responsibility to have the property ready for service. If the property is not ready or is inaccessible, we may reschedule and a fee may apply.

Card on File and Payment Authorization

By approving a quote and providing a card for your account, you authorize us to keep that card on file and to automatically charge it for each completed service, recurring visit, and any applicable fees described in these Terms, without requiring a separate signature for every charge. You may update your card on file at any time by contacting us.

Pet Waste Policy

For everyone's safety and to protect our equipment, yards must be free of pet waste before we arrive. If our crew encounters pet waste on the property that prevents us from safely and properly completing the job, we reserve the right to apply a surcharge of up to 50% of the service price to cover the additional time and equipment cleaning required, or to reschedule the visit.

Payment, Late Fees, and Failed Payments

Payment is due immediately upon completion of service and will be processed using the card on file. If payment is not successfully collected within 7 days of service, a late fee equal to 63% of the original service price will be added to the balance due. If a payment fails, you will have 48 hours from the time of notification to update your card on file before the late fee applies and before further service may be paused.

Refunds and Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with a completed service or a charge, please contact us within 3 days of the service date so we can review the concern and make it right. Requests made after that window may not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled visit. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or lockouts where our crew arrives but cannot access the property, may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.

Weather and Delays

Lawn care is weather dependent. We may delay or reschedule service due to rain, storms, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions, and we will communicate with you when this happens. We appreciate your flexibility, as working in unsafe conditions is not good for your property or our crew.

Communications Consent

By providing your phone number, you agree that we may contact you by call or text about your service, including arrival notifications, scheduling, quotes, and billing. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out of non essential messages at any time.

Photos of Completed Work

We take pride in our work and may photograph completed jobs for our portfolio, website, and social media. These photos focus on the yard and landscaping, not identifying details. If you prefer that we not photograph your property, just let us know and we will honor that.

Insurance and Liability

Sisters With A Mower is insured. We take care with your property, but we are not responsible for pre existing conditions, hidden objects, irrigation lines, pet stakes, or items concealed in the grass or beds that are not marked or disclosed. Please flag any sprinkler heads, wiring, or fragile features before service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any property or client, including for unsafe conditions, unpaid balances, repeated policy violations, or conduct toward our crew that we consider unacceptable.

Satisfaction

We want you happy with your yard. If something is not right, contact us promptly and we will work to make it right.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
